Check-in is from 4 PM, and check-out is before noon. If you plan to arrive after 8 PM, please let us know before your arrival so that we can welcome you in the best possible conditions.

Thanks to its prime location in the heart of Bordeaux, Hôtel Cardinal is the ideal starting point for exploring the city by bicycle. Whether you wish to cycle along the riverbanks, discover the Chartrons district or simply wander through the pedestrianised city centre, several bicycle rental options (thermic and electric) and self-service bicycles are available nearby. We particularly recommend Pierre qui Roule, located just a few minutes from the hotel.
What car rental options are available near Hôtel Cardinal?
If you wish to explore the Bordeaux vineyards, Arcachon Bay or the surrounding region at your own pace, several car rental options are available. In particular, you will find the Sixt agency located on Cours Georges Clemenceau, within easy walking distance of the hotel. Other car rental agencies are also available in Bordeaux city centre, at Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station and at Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport.
How can I reach Hôtel Cardinal from the airport or train station?
From Bordeaux-Mérignac Airport and Bordeaux Saint-Jean train station, tram line F allows you to reach Hôtel Cardinal directly. For a more personalised journey, you can also choose a taxi or private transfer service (VTC), which will take you directly to the hotel. Hôtel Cardinal does not have private parking. Street parking on Rue Élisée Reclus, located directly opposite the hotel, is free from 7 PM to 9 AM and on Sundays. The nearby Pey-Berland car park also offers parking spaces at a rate of €25 per day.
